One major fundraiser that Habitat has sponsored for the past 7 years is a 5K fun run/walk.  This traditionally takes place on the 2^nd Sunday of November at the Lycoming College Football Stadium (David Person Field). This year the course begins and ends at College Place and runs through nearby Brandon Park.

Anyone is welcome to participate in the various age categories.  This year we added several new categories, including 4 person teams and Special Olympics.  The race is typically a very good fundraiser for Habitat and throughout the years has helped us to raise the money to build our own house for a family in Williamsport.  It has also helped raise money towards our annual Spring Break trip.
