Alpha Rho Omega

About Us...

Alpha Rho Omega was founded in 1981 by 12 of the little sisters of the Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity. Since then, the sisterhood has stood for loyalty, individuality and respect both on and off the Lycoming College Campus. With over 300 sisters nationwide, this small local chapter has provided a lasting connection for alumni and current students.

Flower: The American Beauty Rose

Colors: Red, Gold and Purple

Mascot: Pegasus

****House Meetings will be held weekly on SUNDAY afternoons at 7PM unless a change is announced!***  House meetings ARE open.  If you're interested in Alpha Rho and what we stand for, stop by and join us!


Service

Alpha Rho Omega is extremely active in the community.  Each year we are involved in a number of events Including:

  • Volunteering at the YWCA in Williamsport (Children's discovery Workshop)

  • Helping with the AIDS Resource Center in Williamsport

  • Walking in the Autism walk

  • Adopt-A-Highway

  • Relay for Life

  • Crochet Sale to benefit the American Cancer Society

  • Volley for a cure

  • Helping Hands

  • Operation Christmas Child

  • American Red Cross endeavors

  • Quarter Mile of Quarters
